Sleeve girdles dont do shit and are pointless if its sleeved. The only ones that work are the ones that some machine shops put in WITH sleeves. They are press fit in with very tight tolerances. The ones you buy and just stick in the block don't do anything because they don't fit in tight enough and still allow sleeves to move.

Nobody said shit about a "sleeve girdle". Please read thoroughly before you try to correct someone. If you were familiar with internal engine components, specifically Hondas, and paid attention to the after-mentioned parts, you could have concluded that I was referring to the main cap girdle and not a block guard.
