ugh flip-ups/pop-ups! It's just added weight and mechanical BS. I never understood why other than to make it look streamlined but that could be achieved with a little design work
Take the Lamborghini Diablo for instance, in '99 they went to the Z32 300zx headlight unit instead of pop-ups.
Yeah, it's more mechanical things to go wrong, and it adds weight, but I've always loved them, they look really cool exposed or not, I can't explain why but I am just a big fan of them. I think the current mMata would've looked better if it harked back to the first gens with flip ups instead of the crappy fish looking system they went with:Originally Posted by speedminded
