There are a number of factors that will make this a little off though. awd/fwd/rwd....the horsepower numbers are different such as a higher horsepower awd would equal the power of a lesser rwd/fwd car. The actual horsepower number itself would be different cuz people have dynoed on different machines.

Also saying that lower number show a better compromise doesn't really work cuz someone putting 120 down could be getting 30 mpg and just destroy everyone by getting this "lower value".
