LAST OF THE DIEING BREED
You ruin the point of having springs at all, just spend a little money and buy lowering springs that were designed to still provide a lower stance while retaining the function of the spring. They are designed to gradually get stiffer as the spring gets compressed, you are cutting off a vital job of the spring by removing a coil, thus hurting your handling and your butt at the same time. I know it's cheap, but don't be that guy.
I don't know about tint though dude, I'm actually thinking about some myself before the summer comes.
Some say that his politics are terrifying, and that he once punched a horse to the ground...
How is "I need my windows tinted" a question? How about check the sponsors forums, there's even a tint company down there. They do it and they do a good job.Originally Posted by zumolives

we do window tint at my shop. cutting coils: BAD IDEA!!!
Slimm
egay coilover>cutting coils
If the springs on your car have a linear spring rate it can be ok, such as on cobra's. I doubt you have them though. Don't cut them if you don't.
Exactly, they can be cut but if they're progressive it changes the spring rate. Then anyone that's cutting springs most likely is not spending the money on a better dampener that matches the stiffer spring rate...that's when the ride gets bouncy.Originally Posted by alpine_aw11

I cut springs on a few cars and never had a problem, but it was done right, some race teams even play with cut springs to get different rates and experiment.
Bad idea. You get what u pay for...
Cutting > heating BY FAR.
hey matt, i think i know of that tinting place u were asking me about. tomorrow wanna ride out there?
Cutting and heating.. springs are to affordable to still be doing shit like that man.
Leisa and S. 4 Life NM?
Goddamn I get it. just a question. Tdurr that place is exclusive they only do two tintings a day and they always fill up at 9 in the morning ive been trying for three weeks now. they do a damn good job though.Originally Posted by Kevykev

I recommend that. I wouldn't heat/cut unless it was a last resort. Well, I would, but if you can do it the right way, do it. Later, QD.
i had a 5/6 in mind.Originally Posted by quickdodge®
