nice find.. good prices. for brembo's, 19in wheels, 300ish hp, etc. for under 30k. sweet.

i wonder if hyundai will have an in-house tuning arm to make parts for it?

nice. is it by hyundai? i was afraid aftermarket companies would get to hooked on the 2.0 turbo. so far, i've only seen RMR and HKS tune the i4's. we'll see. maybe shark racing got some parts for it by now..

Mods should come about fairly quickly for the 2.0T since it is the Mitsubishi 4B11..

Now this is just converting and speculating from Canadian prices. It is not official pricing and is not accurate because Canada's base is our premium, there is no base Genesis Coupe over there. Official pricing comes Febuary 11th at the Chicago Auto Show.

So I'm guessing you gotta shell out 25K for the GT to get the brembo's?

nonetheless, it will still be reasonable. i might just buy one myself.

and having the Mitsu 4B11? it will only be a matter of time before parts start dropping like hot cakes.

I dont understand why people are busting nuts over the v6. The turbo 4 is going to be the one to have.

Premium is just like better features and qualities like sunroof, stereo, back up sensors, etc. GT is the sport features like brembo brakes, lsd, sport tuned suspension and such.

The sedan was supposedly coming with standard items like NAV, MP3, Bluetooth and all those cool features STANDARD.

This is still holding true for Coupe variants?

When do the GTs hit dealers?

I never heard of Navi standard, but as of right now, I don't think the coupe is coming with standard until later probably with the R-Spec version (2.0L version that's been lightened).

The Genesis Coupes should be hitting dealers last week of Febuary or first week of March last time I heard, not official, but sometime around early spring.

    Ask and you shall receive...

The Track model is available with either the 2.0-litre 157kW turbo four or the 226kW 3.8-litre V6, and boasts a plethora of go-faster bits that should do much to give the Genesis some serious street cred. There’s a Torsen LSD between the rear wheels, stiffer suspension hardware all around, Brembo brakes with sizable 340mm discs up front and 330mm rotors up back, grippy Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tyres, 19-inch alloy rims and extra chassis bracing. The Track also gets Xenon HID headlights, body-hugging front seats, alloy pedals and a navigation system. But posers beware: an automatic transmission is not an option on the 2.0-litre Track, so be prepared to row through your own gears if you want the turbo model.

The R-Spec model will drop later next year, and is targeted towards drivers who want to extract the purest, most undiluted driving experience from their Genesis. The R-Spec gets all the mechanical goodies of the Track, except with the addition of a quick-ratio steering rack. In the interests of weight reduction, the R-Spec forgoes the sat-nav, HID lamps, spoilers, alloy pedals and leather seats of the Track model, making this the one to get if some track day fun is on the cards. Downsides? Well, the V6 isn’t an option with the R-Spec, but considering that getting more power out of the turbo four is just a case of adding a few more pounds of boost, that’s hardly a bad thing.

    Damn.

I like the spoilers and stuff. I seriously want to drift and run track days with one. I can think of the humor in getting a point by at a BMWCCA event from an M3 when you pass and it says Hyundai on the back
