so i'm swapping my old b7 out of my eg Ferio, and dropping a b18a1 in. i got all the harnesses, motor mounts, tranny dizzy ecu axles and all that other good stuff for the obd1 conversion. after the motor is dropped in though, i was wondering how to build this motor to reach around 230 crank hp competely N/A. cheapest and most effective ways possible. recommended brands, bad brands, what is safe and not safe etc. thanks guys! OH and i'm not really willing to sacrafice torque haha

Youd be better of boosting it. You could make that power level very easily and very safely on around 6-7lbs. And it would last for years.
- even then, it'd be hard to put that kind of power down (non-vtec) without extensive machine work being performed, regardless of bolt on mods.
i have an AP1 now. 

GTFO b16 tranny goes to about 150mph at like 7600.Which is well over 120mph and gsr has to do over 135 if b16 can do 145-150mph
