DISCLAIMER: By the way... if you are on a budget, there is nothing wrong w/ chips -- and I don't want to step on anyone's business who is in the game of chipping, burning, tuning etc. Just letting you know your options and the pros and cons of those options. For some guys, budget is more important than ease of use or a few more features... in that case, a chipped ECU is the best for your application and your pocket.
It's also a little easier to get the project going w/ a chip until you can spring for a more robust solution - etc. ENJOY
