    Default Catless Turbo in Barrow?

So I was thinking of going catless and just straight piping from the J-pipe back. Being that I live in an emission free county, I can pretty much do whatever the hell I want with the car. I am not wanting to build an entire street racer but I figured with a turbo, the exhaust should sound nice, right? At least, I was told that.

    So here are my questions...

Will a catless, straight pipe sound like a ricer or will it actually sound decent? (stock turbo-garrett gt25r, stock psi-6 lbs., stock everything basically)

    Next...

Know any shops that can saw and weld me a temp/permanent section where the cat is?

How much will said process be (roughly)?

This is just something I wanted to do on my last Protege (94 with PRM intake and Kartboy short shifter, but N/A) and figured... CARPE DIEM!

It should sound decent. It will never be very high pitched or raspy because of the turbo. A lot of shops won't cut off the cat and replace it with a test pipe. Your best bet is to just ride around and ask them person to person at different shops.

Your best bet is to knock out the honeycomb in the cat, then either weld in a straight pipe inside or just leave it hollow. Most shops wont weld in a test pipe, but you might find some that will.
