    That being said, an old 70's turbo porsche 911 is one of my favorites. Completely unrefined with poor road manners, that if you didn't treat it with respect, would land you sideways or in the hospital.

    Second behind that is the GNX
    I really agree with you and love that rush (I drove 930 Turbo while I was working in a Porsche shop with 44k and it was exhilarating when it hit boost) but that "version" of a turbo car is quickly fading away. Cars are being engineered with no lag and no hesitation now and well..it's a much better drive in terms of what's going to communicate with the driver more and flat out be more involving to drive.. I.M.O the 335 was the FIRST street car to exemplify this and sound N/A to boot, hence why it won national engine of the year. The thing is standardizing what car companies have to do to now to go that route.

    No the last thread did not succeed. Hence why other was the number one choice. It asked for opinions then yielded almost none of the cars people would choose. I agree it's subjective but almost anyone would argue the cars above are the best turbo cars period. I bet if you pulled a list of the "10 best turbo cars" it would have all of what I listed. These cars all shocked or had some large significance on a large number of car enthusiasts around the world. Other turbo cars did not..as much.
