yes there is i've heard of many stories, like canecorso, of STS breaking when you are trying to shift hard to win that last race...maybe not the last race, but i heard they break lol

i also agree w/ deeaone...i've seen factory cars w/ factory HIDs in halogen housing w/ the same 'glare' thats always sh*tted on by others so IMHO stfu about HIDs in halogen housing..if factories do it..then i will too..not to mention i can see way better

Name one manufactor that has done it. I can tell you at least 2 cars that the halogen style lense but those are designed specificly for HID's. The gen 2 Acura TL and half of the Mercedes from '98-'02. But here's the kicker, Mercedes offer 2 different parts numbers for the vehicles with and without HID's, here's your proof http://www.mbpartswarehouse.com/part...668+11921+9217

That was specificly the '96-'99 E class headlights (W210 chassis). Do you really think that DOT will allow an auto maker to sell a vehicle with HID's having a scattered light pattern? There's a certain limit it has to be within. If it don't meet the standards, it can't sold with that vehicle unless done aftermarket, and even then it's probably still illegal.

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

I've owned both on many cars/race cars, never seen one break personally unless you are slamming gears..which is pointless anyway.

The faster you shift, the lower 1/4 mile time. I broke my buddy's ebay STS (I had been driving my mustang 5.0 w/stock shifter, so I could slam gears, got in his honda with a ebay STS and broke that bish in half)

As far as the 7 mods (from my experience and my opinion):

    7. Truck Nutz- LULZ, dumbest sh*t ever. agree.
    6. Fake Chrome- Cheesy. Looks cheap. Real chrome is nice though.
    5. BOV- WTF? A blow off valve is an awesome mod to a DSM (one of the cars that has to recirc) as the stock can only hold 11-12psi. If the cars needs to be recirc'ed, then do it, but that doesn't make it stupid or useless.
    4. Race Clutch in 200hp DD- I personally like a hard grabbing clutch. One reason I got rid of my 2g GST is because I put a OEM style duralast clutch in it. My GSX has a Spec Stage 3. I <3 it.
    3. Cheap exhaust- I've had some cheap exhaust set ups and some nicer set ups. My cheaper set ups sounded better.
    2. Wings/spoilers- I think some look very good, some not so much. If you're rocking a mugen wing on your RSX or a ITR on your LS, sweet, sh*t looks ballin.
    1. Suspension mods- Ummm, wow. I've had cut springs, ebay coilovers, skunk2 sleeve coilovers, stock springs, skunk2 lowering springs, eibach lowering springs, etc. My cut spring cars rode nice, handling improved drastically. Ebay coilovers were semi bouncy, but not too bad. Skunk2 coilovers were very smooth, but not very stiff. Skunk2 lowering springs were harder than my eibachs, so they handled a bit better, but my car with cut springs felt better.

All in all, 6 and 7 from that list were good. The rest was pretty much stupid.

LOL I didn't really aim my headlights up to spite anyone...I was just j/k

My headlights are aimed at about what they should be but I'm sure they still do glare and blah blah blah damn near everyone has HID's in halogen headlights so everyone can cry about that all they want, no one is going to change it. And btw, cars that come stock with HID's would blind me too, but I have 5% tint

Simon tibbett, I've never met you outside of this forum, and if I did, I would hope you'd talk all the **** you do here to my face... Get off my nuts
