I valet an srt-8 at the restaurant I work at last week. People gave it more attention than an Aston Martin or a Bentley. They literally came out of the restaurant to walk around it. It only had 50 miles, and the owner tiped me $10. I'm not a fan of most American cars because I like more efficient smaller cars in general, but I really liked this challenger.

Its an American muscle car...its big, brutish, and loud. Thats the way its supposed to be. It doesnt, nor should it, be compared to any ricerocket or euro sedan.
I like the new Challenger RT. Its just too expensive. The original spirit of the muscle car was a big motor and some hi-po goodies in a cheap car...all for a few bucks more then grandmas sedan.
I wish they (Mopar) would revive that concept.

I have owned many of the real 60's muscle Mopars....including a 1970 Challenger RT with a hilborn injected hemi stuffed in it. Damn...I miss those days....
