You can say it's ugly because that's personal opinion, heavy is just truth, but I'd like to see your argument on it being overpriced. Sorry, but for the money of a GTR vs. any stock car it's pretty much unbeatable right now. And this is coming from someone who wants natural selection to take care of all the GTR fanboys.Originally Posted by jesse4846

The R8 BASE MSRP with ZERO options for 6-speed Quattro is $112,500. That also assumes you get one of the TWO Solid-Gloss NON-Metallic paints that don't have an upcharge, either Red or White. Getting a Metallic or Pearl (The only way to get Black is Pearl) is $650 more. It also assumes you are happy with Alcantara rather than real leather, as real leather is either $2000 for the basic leather package or $5500 for the enhanced leather package. Add the basic options that make the R8 into an Audi, like the Premium package, Navigation and the sound upgrade, and a Body-Color Sideblade to keep the R8 from being uglier than a GT-R, and you get $120,500 MSRP. Most Audi dealers are gonna add quite a bit in delivery and bull**** fees. That puts the R8 well out of the same price range as the GT-R, even with what the dealer's are adding as bull**** fees right now.
