A lot of it is because a new manager gets a store and Corporate won't let him fire the people there who are screwing up. And since the stores are always changing managers they never get a manager who is willing or able to straighten out the BS. My friend managed an Advance and they wouldn't let him fire anybody untill he had been there for several months. By that time he got fed up and left.![]()
Anybody who would be good working a parts counter can make much better money doing something else.![]()
And the manager actually has the ****tiest job in the store. Salaried for 40 hours for a job that sometimes takes 50 or more.![]()
