at 140mph you are travelling a mile every 25 seconds or so. By the time the cop turned around you would be a mile ahead of him. I say keep on going.

Agreeing with the above, also consider if it is day or night. If a cop is coming opposite direction as you, or sitting still radaring. If its night, and you pass him at 140, theres almost no way he knows what make/model you are in. He just knows that someone just passed him going balls fast. So, if he deciedes to chase you, and you're doing a mile in 25 seconds, then he has to go at least 160, and by my rough math, it'll take him 6 minutes to close a mile gap between you. Thats a long time. No to mention he won't be able to see your tailights by then. And thats assuming his car will go that fast and he has the balls to do it. (Cops are still people with families to go home to) I would either pull to the next exit, or if i passed a car, slow down and pace him. The cop probably won't know which of you was the one he radared. If he does guess right, then he deserves the 10 million dollars you're about to give the county. Give him congrats on a nice catch and enjoy your night in jail getting butt raped. But 140= stupid if not on a track somewhere. Plus with the drag created by sustaining 140 mph, you're probably going to run out of gas in the next 5 seconds.
