    Default 300zx or 3000gt?

Alright everytime, me and a certain friend get together, which is alot, it always comes up in our conversations, he is a big mitsubishi loyalist, and I consider myself a Nissan fanboy , anyways, he is always saying that a 3000gt Vr-4 is a much better all around car, than the 300zx Twin turbo. I cant find any videos of a race between the two, and Ive never seen either go head to head. Im sure the 300 would dominate the track, and the highway, and im sure the 3000gt would be a more desireable drag car with the AWD, the 300zx has a hard to work on engine bay, and the 3000gt weighs a considerable amount more than the 300, Ive also heard that Vr-4's arent all that reliable, but both are not your everyday cars. Someone clarify the subject for me, opinions are fine, just throw it out there, which you think is better and why.

i've always considered the vr-4 more of a grand tourer than a sports car.

I have a friend with a Z32 TT and another with a VR-4. I've driven both, and I personally like the Nissan better. Mod for mod I think they're pretty much the same. Working on either one is a pain in the ass, and you can't nor will you make any serious power on stock twins.

They're both almost identical, power wise. They both have their ups and downs...

I'm a Rwd fan, so my pick would be the 300zx jmo.

My old RX-7 had it.....what a b!tch that was. If you held it right on the edge while cornering, it tried to correct for you.....sh!t was scary sometimes. Got rid of it with the bushing delete with a quickness

lulz. The 3kgt is a POS to work on, not to mention its DSM related. What a nightmare those cars are. If you HAVE to get either or, i would definitely get the Z. they are good cars, plenty of aftermarket, dont weigh 3800 lbs, get better MPG, look better imo and at the end of the day its not a Sh!tsubishi

As for the cars I'm a fan of both. Another negative I didn't see mentioned about the VR4 is that I believe it has rather bad crash test ratings (don't be surprised if you end up with 2 broken legs). Sorry if this is inaccurate, I just seem to remember it from back when I was looking into getting one.

300zx. The 3000gt would be the choise for a "different" car to mod, but sometimes being different for the sake of different (and thus difficult) does not help. They weigh about a million-billion pounds and most examples are all ragged out now. However, I give you more kudos if you mod one of those over the z. However, the lazy man in me would go for the Z just due to the fact that the VR4 gives a rotary a run for its money in terms of making you act as a mechanic.
    My car is factory....

Every single performance part and or modification it has was made in a factory somewhere.
