i could be ok with 400-450 awhp.
considering my car weighs 2200 pounds being at like 275 wheel, im sure it will make a pretty quick car.
for a dailey no more than 250 is necessary.... but for a weekend ride i'd take all i could get in the awd flavor... like the norris design evo
400+
But not in the camaro. I want to throw the LT1 in my old Jag Series 3 xj6. I'll take 300 for daily in the camaro. Maybe 350 with a cam and some time on the dyno. all rwhp.
In my TYPE-S
id say 350 to 400
I'd be more than happy with 300 in my RS
id be happy with 200-299 cause thats enough to have to play with but not too much to have to buy a dd reps for a good thread
around 350whp daily driven is good enuff
200 for me good enough for dd and wen im bored lol
I would have to say 300 - 400 rwhp. It wouldn't really take much, just a small turbo kit, good catback, and a good tune
I'm sure a lot of people say as high as possible, but whats the point? there is always going to be someone faster! What is the point of an 800 hp car that you can't drive safely every day? 400 is great power and would be much easier to drive
when i had the teg..i woulda sufficed for 250whp..but now w/ the max..i'd be happy w/ 350-400whp
the truck..250-300whp
400 whp
for a fast daily driver
and
enough for the EJ to handle
i say like 380 just because it would be a dd.
id be happy with 200 hp to the front wheels
x2 Rich:D lol all motorQuote:

Ill be happy with 350 since anything more will cause my tranny to explode and evil **** popping my axles.
And if that car is yours in your sig those doors alone are slowing you down.
503. :goodjob:
270-320
i dont need speed that much. it is still a show car :)Quote:

for my civic, as a daily/project i would just simply want 200-250
i think thats more than enough for me, im not a racer or anything...just want to have power..if i ever need it you know.
HP is good but lb/HP makes a lot more sense.
The current 7.45 lb/whp is pretty good but with intake/cam/tune it can drop to 6.0
A nice supercharger + forged setup(just in case) will yield 650hp conservatively (~6psi). That will take it to ~ 5lb/hp.
LOST: Briefcase with $25k in it. If found please PM me.
I dont know about yall but i would love to be pushing over 1000 to the wheels in a street car. The more the better. i aslo have a friend that has 1600rwhp in his street car that also runs 7s in the quarter and he drives it to the track!!!!!
In my SAAB...I'd love to get anywhere from 250 - 300 to the wheels.
With the BSR Stage III upgrade and all the parts that go with it, I'd be right at 280 by their estimates...so that'll do it for me.
I'd be happy with about a 600 hp daily driver
The 381whp in my Lexus is quite enough in my car, that makes it well over 420 @the crank. 60-120 is only seconds away.
800whp+ for me :)
Twins @ 8psi put me at 649rwhp.. Forge bottom end, good heads, lower comp and a nice cam on 20psi+ should put me where i want or just mid 9's on the street with street manners.
i put 300 because i drive a toyota 4x4 solid axle truck to go off roading in. Anything more than that would be kinda crazy and then i dont think tread lightly would be very possable
My goal is about 350 for my rx7
300-350whp would be fine for my camaro
Eh. I change my mind. I'm shooting for 600-700 383 with a procharger.
LT1?Quote:

A big cam to throw me into the 12's, and heads to take me into the 11s. But at that point, why not build a 383? As sson as I get enough for a DD, it's on.Quote:

I think Id be happy with 400-499 since i have a WRX. SO a 500 hp AWD would be sweet.
you can never have too much power
Since Im FWD I could be good w/200whp and that is about it.I do not like to race but if I need to pass someone I'd like to do it effortless.
Yeah, as long as your car can handle it. A 350whp Civic isn't street drivable. A 300whp 240z is street drivable but only if the suspension and wheels are heavily modified. You can indeed have too much power, and the sad thing about many people (And cars) Is that this number is very low for them.Quote:

400hp LS2 Vette, need more!!!

If your can handle it...even 1000hp isn't enough.
