To the OP. To be completely honest if your looking for power you chose the wrong platform however your not completely out of luck. The 4G69 is almost identical to that of a 4G63 out of an Evo. What most of the 3G GS guys do since they have the 4G64 is put on an Evo head, manifold, turbo, and then tune. This will be good for somewhere around 250whp+ I've seen better all depends on the tune and tranny your using.

If you shop around you should be able to source most of the stuff you need for about 3-4k no more than you would normally pay for a turbo kit anyways.

By the way the 3000gt was just a thought, it is a v-6 which was an option in his car but with the turbos i have no idea if it will bolt in but it is possible with an SL tanny.

Yup. Because It will last. There is almost no way in hell to mount the VR-4 motor in the car. The only reason I am skeptical the evo hybrid would work on his car is becaue I know almost nothing about the 4G69. I've got a 08 convertible GS that my dad has for the week sitting in my driveway right now and I will look at it later and do some more research before giving it the . The only other thing I can tell the OP is to go on some of the 4g forums and see what they say.

i am going to pull my idea from this i made the comment on a 3kgt motor swap but after looking at the engine bay of the eclipse the motors are sitting on the opposite sides of the engine bay. So maybe an evo swap is in your future.

I would still car 3sx to see if they think it could be done
