1. how do u know u are getting the right oil for your car and or what u even paid for. most places oil pumps arent labeled the person putting the oil in just has to know which 1 is which. thats just going on my personal experience working for places like that back in the day.
Which is why you take them your own oil

O yea, I forgot changing your own oil makes you a REAL MAN Not all of us have time to feel like a "real man". I'd rather take it to a shop that i've been going to for years, that are up right and honest and friends of the family and be in and out in under 10 minutes and pay $10 for them to change my oil, with the oil and filter that I provided. Is my time worth $10? I think so...
