    as long as the power output is the same, and the engines are in similar, good, running condition, you WILL NOT know the difference between a 1g and a 2g B16.

    I actually agree with you on getting on OBD1 engine, though. However, not because it's "faster." It's simply more tunable. Just about any firmware you want to tune with is available for an OBD1 honda.

    tthe second gen are better because the hydro tranny,and tuning and they have louder vtec so that is worth its weight in gold
