Default ATTN: DO / other wheel whores

I'm looking for suggestions for a nice, low offset wheel for my miata. 4x100.
Everyone does Watanabe's/Sportmax 002 on them, so I'd like something...else.

I really like the (god I'm going to get flamed for this) JMags, but I've heard too many mixed reviews of rota to want to go that way. Give me some ideas here, people. No bigger than a 16x7, I have the 17" wheels that were on there when I bought it, and they look like straight dookie on a miata.

    hmm... lets see...

lets get EJ25RUN and EBP_EM1 in here to help me out as well...

just to throw it out there ahead of time though i would NOT do JMAGs on that car. i think JMAGs only come in high offsets and with that RWD platform id take advantage of option to do low offset wheels.

whats the purpose of the vehicle?

just to floss. are you tracking it?

oh and do you have a spending limit? cuz if alls you want to do is look nice "I" see nothing wrong with getting some flattering knockoffs. at the end of the day a wheel is a wheel.

Oh!! for now... before i do any searching at home i can throw out...

just about any low offset Work wheel. (well at least from the Equip Series)

i like the Equip 01's and the 03's

hmmm... I think some diamond racing steelies would be nice on your car... They are mad cheap too at $55-$100 per wheel for custom fitment..

cant find any pics on a miata, but you get the idea.... As long as you have a suspension to pull it off you will be good

I've seen those steelies on a miata and they look hot.

Spending limit is...eh...$800 or so, so nothing outrageous. The car is going to be a DD, but I'm moving to KY, so it'll see a LOT of mountain use. The suspension going on in it is ~1.5" lower than stock. I'd like to to a staggered offset, too.

those diamond racing wheels on the civic look like sh!t lol.

See, the problem i have wit these idiots putting wide wheels with low offset on Miatas is that, in order to do this, you need to roll the fender and use 195/50-15 tires. And it always looks like sh!t. If you're going to install a set of wide wheel.. utilize the goddamn motherflucking width of the wheels and get some fat tires to go with them. Otherwise it just looks like a sh!tty mexiridermobile.

Its ok. Not to many people here know what fitment means. Alot of folks just slap tires on wheels and call it a day

I, personally, like how they look on my car. Of course, I plan on getting some of the bolt on flares, anyway. BTW, I am running 195/50/15's.

you mean the the wheels can't be balanced?

Diamond racing wheels have the center bore stamped into them. You must balance the wheels using the lug nut holes, not the center bore like most shops do.
