Competition Stage 5 w/ the Upgraded Pressure Plate. Only single disc clutch other than the RPS($1500 or more) that'll hold that much torque. I've seen it in person last through 2 500whp setups.
Quality Perfomance and Fabrication!!
Thanks, ima go with what mike recomended...

A single is going to suck to dd regardless compared to a good twin or triple setup, it really depends on how much money you want tos pend.

i wouldn't recommend the upgraded plate, its to damn stiff and ive seen several people break their clutch fork in half with that thing. I had no issues with the non upgraded stage 5 on the streets and track with 600hp. the non upgraded held all the way to 430 torque before it started spinning on the dyno. The upgraded merely held the same before it started spinning. Its just to damn hard to depress lol
twin and triple for DD? Are you just retarded?

i used a stage 5 comp
i can get you a custom clutch set made for your car. better than any aftermarket out there*!* i had the same problem finding a clutch. i went through about 6 different setups spinning the clutch disc in 4th gear with everyone of them. a buddy of mine had the same problem in his car: we did a custom setup and now it will spin the tires on the dyno*!* usually the price is around 325 for the clutch set, but it could be a little more or less depending on what type of car and setup.

I guess I'm the only one that is unhappy with Competition Clutch, been through like 3 of their clutch kits and the disc, splines on the disc and PP have all malfunctioned; not at the same time or same kit..
ive beat on 2 CC clutches before getting my twin disk and all have taken it like a man.

Competition Clutch Stg 5 (w/ non HD PP)
Took this clutch out of my car yesterday, this is the 2nd time the spring has popped out of the disc and as you can see a piece of the spring broke off and is lodged in the PP. Never Comp Clutch again!
goodness, it seems like you're the only one with the "luck"
get an unsprung hub problem solved.

Not necessarily.
I've torn up unsprung clutches too - ripped the splines right out of the middle of the disc.

I did this time, it might not be CC clutches but just because spung discs can't handle it.Originally Posted by SPOOLIN

Dual/triple clutches aren't harder to push/drive then singles, that's why they're better. I much prefer a stockish feeling dual with not nearly as aggresive discs then an overkill single that's a bastard to drive. If you've ever driven a McLeod street twin or textralia double/triple you'd understand what I mean... there's just no comparison
