I wish people really took the time to understand this whole situation. German law on this matter is VERY different from American law. VW/Audi etc. and their non-German subsidiaries are going to continue working the same way they have. The only thing this really changes is the financial and ownership relation between Porsche and Volkswagen group. Porsche has been an "Interested Party" in the control of Volkswagen for a very VERY long time now.

I doubt there will be very much sharing between the companies that hasn't already occurred. If Porsche had wanted Audi's interiors they could have gotten them before now. I guess we'll see if anything changes for the American market though.
