naw man i understand all your points.

didn't buy the whole VC gasket set because a) it wasnt in stock, but the gasket itself and the spark plug tube seals were and b) i had a bunch of those grommets in my tool box.

with the schedule that i had on getting this car completed for the buyer (which i did early as a matter of fact) that was the least of my worries. rebuilding the transmission was the primary concern.
