Some people actually prefer to be different. Have you actually sat inside one of those? They're huge on the insides, especially the back seat. I'd probably get one for my girl if I ever felt the need to have one. It's nice to know that there's a vehicle that don't look like everything else on the road.

I understand the hate, but when you consider the room, reliability and kinda sporty appeal they have its hard to beat their price for a NEW car

To be honest I didn't get them at first either. But as I've thought about a new daily driver, the xB has come up. Why do econo boxes have to be lame or uncool with no group of people to mod with? Some people would rather associate themselves with Mussolini than a Civic. We need more options.
The xB gives people a chance to have an affordable car they can mod and be enthusiastic about. Not everyone wants a sporty car.
It has high MPG, roomy and is quirky.

i really didnt like the 1st gen xB's because they had like 105hp, but the new ones have 160 so they're not that bad.
105 with light weight is fine.Though they do feel underpowered with 4 people in the car (i've driven rental xBs)

xb's are pimp... you dont see any swapped ones because it requires alot of engine bay massaging so ive heard! im sure ther are a few..tho. But i waw told the 2.4 , and the 1.8vvti swap required that.
