    Default turbo help!

i just got my turbo kit installed yesterday. not trying to hit full boost yet til i get tuned. I got a crome chipped ecu from batlground. Once it hits boost up to 4k rpm, it jumps rpm but no more pull... kinda like a slipping clutch. but my OEM clutch for now grabbed fine still. Any other suggestions on what it could be? could my clutch have went out that fast without driving hard? just wanted to see what all it could be?

your clutch could be slipping just enough to keep the car going, but not enough to fully grab and go. if you are going to be boosting on a basemap, get a wideband to make sure your a/f's are ok. best thing to do is wait and get tuned, however i try not to be a hippocrit(spelling), so i wont preach that.

ummmmm, maybe its a lean cut?? Do a datalog with your crome and see where your a/f is at.... Where is your lean cut set at? Do you have boost cut set there too? I am not too familar with crome, but if its like hondata, you can see all that....

    sounds like clutch slipping.

If you are hitting boost, and the speedo goes up but the tires arent moving or spinning that usually means the clutch is toast.

Your logic is "Korupt" because boost is controlled by pedal pressure. Don't boost on your base map.

    New car:
    95 S14 with RB25DET (stock boost)

    Old car:
    Turbo S2000 400hp/285tq on 9:1 comp & 11psi
