Toyota knows how to make AWD cars so why would they need Subarus help?
because toyota is lazy.....

Old news in the 'yota community. Now we're trying to figure out what marquee it will be released under, Toyota or Scion.
I can only hope Toyota
Yeah I bet. A lot of people would be eating their words if it came out as a Scion.![]()
I would rather see them get assistance from subaru since Toyota is the largest shareholder in Fuji heavy industries, rather than getting assistance from Yamaha like they did with the 3sgte or 2zzfe.
They need to get Audi to help they are the originators.
that thing would look beasty as hell in usa.
As of last year, General Motors sold it's shareholdings of Subaru to Toyota.
So why whould Toyota spend money to develop a new drivetrain when they can just use a Subaru one that has already been developed and proven to work?
