    Default ITB Bisimoto build

UPS man came today with my Bisimoto Engineering Level 2 Cam, Pro valve springs, and serrated cam gear! Bisi was even nice enough to throw in a signed picture of the Insight wishing me luck on the build. My room is getting crowded with my bisimoto stuff, ITB's, innovate wideband, ecu chipped for crome, moates ostrich emulator, and 15x7 et10 Drag DR20's. Now all I need is a good long weekend to get it all together.

They're going in a non-v SOHC ZC along with my cbr954 ITB's. I also have some p29 pistons to go in there for a bit of xtra comp. Soon to follow will be a bisi header to replace the uhhh...cough pacesetter cough, and a full exhaust. Im running polyurathane mm inserts, a fidanza 7lb flywheel, exedy clutch and ZC tranny. Also there will be some headwork, but right now im not sure when and where. Right now the stock ZC has been dynoed twice at mainstream at 114 hp and 102ft/lbs, so im shootin for 150hp to the wheels right now.

Im kinda sick right now, but hopefully tomorrow I can get the cam/springs/gear/ecu/ and wideband in, and after a little more work for the vstacks the itbs will follow.

Well I got the Springs/gear/cam in today. It runs pretty good, but it needs some good tuning. I had to quickly adjust the lash and timing to get going cuz we had dinner plans for my moms bday. I gave it a few good runs but the limiter is set at 6800 so i gotta put the wideband and chipped p28 in tomorrow or monday. So far it pulls pretty good and the idle quality is not bad.

SOHC's can scream when done right...there's a couple guys that have been building them for 10k rpm's around here/southeast.

Man be careful and tune that sucker before it blows b/c of too much timing or detonation or too little fuel. Man it's scary to drive a car and not know what's going on especially on such a nice build as yours.

Oh yeah absolutely man I didnt just slap the **** together and take off blind. everything is adjusted to the safe side(rich and retarded on some high octane) until I can tune and monitor everything. I am working on the wideband and fuel maps as we speak.

So can u calculate how much money you have spent and how much Hp u will have........not to be a ass but you coulda got a savings acct and bought a stock b16 and put down 150 to the wheels for less than what you have spent total for that zc swap..................... but nice goodies ...to each his own.. nice ZC build though... i hope u make wat u are shooting for

Well the itbs themselves were $60 off ebay, manifold was free. I cut and prepared it and had it welded at N Ga Speed Shop in woodstock for like 200. Velocity stacks were used from a porsche dealer in marietta for $30, and I am making the weber stack adaptors~like $5-10. Vacuum manifold was made from a air tool distribution block from northern $5-10. So th ITBs total cost =just over 300 dollars. Motor was just over 400 from japanese engine of atlanta in marietta. Cam, gear, and springs were, 500. So probably a little over 12-1300 dollars pieced together over a few years. Anyways if I come out putting down stockish B16 numbers I will be totally happy. A cammed and ITB'd SOHC is way sicker than a stock B16 like everybody else. By the way here is a pic of the ITB's and my new wheels.

Well I thought about a vtec head but I just decided to stay with the NonV and throw the bisi parts in it. My wideband serial cable will be here tomorrow and I will finally get to tune the thing. Ordered rear camber arms the other day too so i can make the wheels fit. Gotta get the wheels done, a basic tune, and new pedals and clutch cable this week cuz SCCA Solo2 starts Sunday!

Well today I am workin on the velocity stack adaptors. Here is what I got so far. I just cut a flange and am welding a small piece of pipe onto it to slide down into the throttle body. everything is cut, i just need to weld it up and drill out the center hole in the flanges. Also here are some pix of the wicked tuning camber kit recently installed and before and after pix.
