well the looks are pretty damn close, the lights are the main difference. the interior looks a lot better with this generation, even though the previous generation was not bad at all. i have driven both (used to own a G35) and i was not impressed with the small power increase i think they could of done better to keep up with bmw's 335

Well I haven't driven the 37 or the 335 but when they tested the two cars against each other, the G37 came out on top over the 335i twin turbo. The main thing that the 335 had over the G37 was the ride comfort and in-cabin noise.

hmm i'm just talking about faster in a straight line? or did the 335 fall short in that competition aswell?

and the fact that it was exactly equal or better in every category. Faster, better gas milage, etc. The G37 won because early model 335i auto sports did not have oil coolers and the car overheated. Read the article.

then explain why so many BMW's and Mercedes are chugging around with 300+K on them, doing track days by the weekend, still being ahead of there time. Is there a Spec Camry where you can get an 87 Camry and race in a league with other spec camry's with 250+K on them? Would a 91 Maxima do 30 laps on Road America without overheating the brakes with proper pads?Could that Maxima even do 3 laps without exploding? Simple Japanese cars are the most reliable cars in the world, because they serve a simple purpose. Performance Japanese cars are another story. Compare an E30 to say...300zx. Thats like comparing a cancer patient to someone who seems like they will never die. Your fanboy comment is ignorance and biased because you drive a Japanese car.

If this were actually to happen i would put my money on the 300zx (both cars having the highest performance from the factory). However, I would take an e30 M3 over any TT 300zx any day of the week

note: my opinion is not based on reviews of either car

First off the concept looks PERFECT. The production version looks watered down, slightly odd and feminine. IMO, the G35 looks more masculine and overall is a better looking car. Then they make the ALTIMA coupe look nearly identical.

The G37 interior is heads and shoulders above the other 2. Sadly b/c of weight gains, the G37 doesn't perform much if any better than the G35.
