actually ford just owns mazda.. they dont put their name anywhere on the thing. most of the mazda parts are made in jdm land

im not a big fan of neither one! i personally like the mazda, and think it has potential! I used to like srt-4's but i guess they got played out

yeah u can get an awd kit for the mazdaspeed 3 as well, but thats a 15g swap lolz

Mazdaspeed3 because I'm biased towards Mazdas... that and 236 hp with a 0-60 of 5.6 seconds then a hatch to haul all your crap around. We all have lots of crap we need hauled around.

Ms3.

Although, I think that the new SRT Caliber would be more accurate competition to the MS3.

MS3/Caliber SRT/HHR SS

All three share 4 door hatch designs, turbo 4's with 280ish HP, and all are sub 23k starting price.

I like that MS3 with its very high quality interior and all. But I have read they have some sort of torque management in the ECU?

I'd say I'd go with a SRT-4 due to the modding/aftermarket potential if I was buying today. I also like the new Caliber SRT-4 with that new aluminum block "world engine" that is going to kick ass also when modded right.

I am going to have to go with my srt4 cause i think they look way better slammed and they sound mean as **** for the peeps that have heard mine.

So hands down srt4 just cause they look better and are cheaper to mod.

SRT4 , mazda sucks,, I mean anyone that makes a design where if you take the crank pulley off , it throws the timing set up off because they wound so tight, it causes bent valves, or drops a valve, I mean cmon!!!

you dont know what your taikin about....be quiet

ive broken belts on my mazda and havent bent a valve, and never will worry about it happening because it CANT. mazda motors are never wound too tight...there not wound enough!!

most mazda motors, are non inteference only ones i know off the top of my head is the 2.0/2.2/and the kl V6 motors. Your a ASE mechanic and have experience with honda, so you should know that ALL honda motors are inteference motors.

no one with any knowledge can undersetimate the neons, they have always been good track cars. Most Srt4 owners dont know anything about neons before the srt4.

In the mid priced sedan class, two out of the last three wins were by local SRT-4's (Dale & Doug). The win that was not by a SRT-4 was by TopSpeed/Luke.

I was going to say something about that but the ignorance of people makes it almost pointless. Everyone is to focused on that it's a NEON and not what really matters. If road coursing is your thing you can pick up an ACR edition SRT-4 which comes with tokico struts, upgraded front and rear sway bars, and light weight BBS wheels. Don't underestimate them at the track

SHi* my boy brandon has ran down plany of evo's,sti's,miate's and all kind of track car's in the mtn's and he just has minor suspension on his srt4,get up to the top and these ******'s looking at him like wtf
