I don't know the exact degree...I'm not exactly talking about having the tire sitting on the inside only, but negative camber is good to a certain extent. Bad for daily but negative camber is good when utilized right. Just like everything else in a car.

    Explained above...
I'm not talking about a small degree of negative camber, I'm talking about when about half of the tire is making contact with the road.

I think what kyle means, is kind of what how i feel. People have a hard time nowadays doing what they want to there cars. They are too worried about what others are gonna say, or getting flamed on their forums. years ago, people were into crazykits, crazy paint, bodykits blah blah. And doing their own thing with their own car. Its just real hard to find originality in certain cars..especially the popular imports evo-350-civic-integra-240-wrx.. alot of folks that get those type of cars seem to be scared to do what they want to with it.. so they all copy each other.. imean with all the parts available do you have to go buy the same exterior parts? it ma looks good, but get your own style. And if you dont have money to buy wheels, and you paint your stockers.. dont BS just be honest.. i cant afford wheels! its crazy how rattle canning painting ur wheels is the thing to do nowadays.. but 2 years ago everyone called it rice.

so if they get creative its rice,
and if they copy each other its rice..

    lose/lose situation..

i guess this is why i like to do very minimal mods to a car..

Quality **** costs money and you can tell when someone has put good stuff on a car.

Mugen RNR's were available black with a red pinstripe YEARS ago.

Modifying something is hardly rice. It's no differant than an emo chick with pink hair...she does it to be differant yet makes herself look just like every other chick with pink hair.

If the wheels are refinished in a poor manner then it could be "rice". Who cares if it's a stock wheel or not. One of the best looking M Coupes i've ever see was silver and debadged with black powdercoated oem wheels.

There are a loot of tools that own vw's, so that's a fair stereotype.

The kid knows what he's doing, making little snyde remarks to me. He made one, I didn't respond, so he made another. If he has something to say or a problem with me, he should feel free to come out and say it or do something.

Thats because you are still a closet ricer. Once you own a honda you will always have it in you.

i guess VW is the same, b/c your a rice boy too.. you said it depends on the application and that the mini looks good and sometimes you like the look of time attack wheels.. which is kinda what i said.. either way, i dont like the mini, the "wheels take away my attention from the rest of the car, its all i notice".. <-- and that difenetly means its RICE!!

But that doesn't represent the meaning of "rice", why because it is fast. My point is the how people use the term rice isn't the true meaning of "rice". They use the term as tasteless exterior mods, when it doesn't mean that.

imo, rice is tasteless mods.. fast or slow, a car that is rice is rice.. i dont wait to see the car run 1/4 mile to say its rice or not, i just look at it in pictures or i see it in a parking lot..

Haha I don't really think a discussion about time attack rims is important enough to come knock on your door to debate it. It just seems like you always have a negative opinion about everything unless someone spent a fortune on it.

Would you consider that wheel rice? I love old-school designed meshies with a polished lip but I'd rather not pay for old and busted rims. I think these are a good alternative.

For certain cars it can look good. I know a guy with wheels like those on an old passat wagon. There are exceptions to every rule.

i figured a time attack wheel would be one designed for time attack... not a painted ugly P.O.S. that will never see track time...

So why is it any different than buying say a gunmetal wheel with a polished lip? or a bronze wheel with a polished lip? Just because it has a special name associated with it doesn't mean it's any gayer than any other style of wheel. It's all personal preference. Who cares? Hell, you see all kinds of wheels these days, even Takata Green ones.

Negative camber on the Civic/Del Sol/Integra chassis shouldn't be more than 0.5-1.0 degrees in the rear It depends on your suspension setup and how much body roll it has.
