Default Need Help: Toyota CEL Reset Code

My Maintanence Req. light came on for regularly scheduled maintanence, but I've already done it. I was wondering if anyone here knows the process to reset the light as I really don't feel like going to Toyota. Reps to whomever can help.

It has something to do with the ignition and the brake pedal, I just don't know the specifics.

I have a toyota and I just undo the neg side of the battery for about 10 - 15 seconds and it clears it
View the world through a dogs eyes, if you can't screw it or eat it, pi$$ on it and walk away.

No, it works for newer ones too. My buddy has done it for me before but he's moved to Nevada.

turn the car off and the turn the key to the on position, push the gas pedal down 3 or 4 times and see if your light blinks. if not then hold the trip reset and then turn the key to the on position and hold it till the light either blinks or goes off

press down the trip button and while your holding the button turn your keys on but not all the way on to where your starting your car and just wait til the light stop blinking. lol if anything, contact toyota service department..they can talk you in the step while your on the phone.

i work at toyota service department, thats how i know. good luck!!!
