Just bought a set of Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires, haven't even mounted them yet but I'm pretty confident that they will impress me.

330 each. They're rated to 14k miles, but I expect no more than 7-8k at this rate. I'm at about 2.5/32nds right now and they're 5-6k old.

it has been the best thing to keep me from spinning the tires thinking how much money is burning off the tires.

Well since mine's just a DD for right now, Goodyear Assurance. Haha.

Actually it came with Sumitomo SRXIONS or whatever, and I'm not impressed with 'em.

I'm either going to run a narrower set of rear wheels (ie Rota P45R's or BBS RK's), or go to 295/35-18 BFG KDW2's.

That's what I'm running too. They are great tires for the money. I really want to pony up for some Azenis RT-615s when these go bald.

Been riding on Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires for a few hundred miles now & I will admit that they're really good in the rain! Handling wise, they're ok and dry they're pretty good also.
