    Ok, so KEVIN TRAN is a kid that I did my FIRST swap to the public. JohnZM and I swapped a B16 into his CRX. Kevin was a nice guy, but he ALWAYS wanted something for free. After blowing his b16 up ( i think he was spraying nitrous on it? I forget but it blew up like a year or 2 after we swapped it in), he came to me at Mainstream with practically no money. I felt sorry for him, and DID HIM A FAVOR that Charles DIDNT WANT ME TO DO.

    I sold him a Built LS Block with rods and pistons from Don Flores (same guy that built my motor) and we went down and picked it up with Kierans GSR motor. Kevin saw his motor FRESH because we used his B16 head on his BUILT LS BLOCK.

    Theres pics of it on here all over the place. There were even pics on Mainstreams Old website , plain as day. Kevin SAW THE ENGINE. Charles put it together.

    the car ran great, made like 180+ whp with low compression pistons and GSR cams setup for Nitrous. Ask scotty, he tuned it.

    Kevin NEVER wanted to spend the money on a proper nitrous setup, it was always hit an miss and he constantly had problems with it. He sunk all his money/credit into building that engine and paying us to put it in.

    That was in like 2005/2006. Over the next few years he stopped coming to mainstream, he started letting other shops and backyard mechanics work on his car. No big deal. But he ALWAYS had problems, and he always would call or randomly text me about problems or issues his car had. I never really helped him after he wrecked Chris Moores S2000 by driving it illegally.

    You called me up like 7 years later asking if his car had Headstuds accusing me of ripping him off over some $50 headstuds on a build that happened years ago. I told you he got what he paid for, and the car had blown a headgasket (BY HIS OWN ADMISSION) and he had other people repair the car LONG AFTER MAINSTREAM. I told you that is not my problem, he got exactly what he paid for when he came through us .

    Realize you are calling James Emmino and Charles Warren LIARS as well, because they did work to his car.

    Oh no you dont motherfucker, you dont make accusations and then say "i wasnt going to name names".

    I didnt work on cars bobby, so that means just cause i charged up a bill , that means Charles and James were in on it since they swapped cars and engines. It was CHARLES SHOP, he did the books and he worked on customers cars. He actually worked on Kevins car IIRC.

    He got a built short block, IIRC, and this is Off memory only because its been YEARS, and i worked with THOUSANDS of customers.....he got a built LS Short Block and the B16 head got Springs and retainers?     Invoice shows parts that were not installed, but yes it was 5yrs later, and it went to vong i think for a tranny..

    I'm getting stressed just reading the first 2 pages so I won't read any further. Everything stated by Mike is just about right except for the italicized section. I've never had a blown head gasket in my CRX, period. I never took my car to a shop again after the S2K incident. The same B16 head that Charles had installed has never came off until Bobby took it off last year because I melted a valve. I was not there when Bobby took the head off, but he did tell me what he saw and then contacted me on it.
