hmmm i sure do need a good 6in. lol im gonnna do a few more things to try it then im gonna give up... but im thinging maybe the shift selector of something of that nature has probs, bc got new cables, shifter box under car, omni clutch master, new oe slave, solid line, comp twin, clutch start and stop, saenz gear set, carbon syncros, and new to bearing... what else could it be?
The slides have burrs on them.
Also if the gears have wear doesn't matter if the syncros are new . It can be a tone of stuff which all needs to be checked. Sometimes you can get lucky by just putting new stuff in but everything needs to be checked.
Well im deft not a " tranny builder" and never plan to be lol... I let jimmy putt it together and I've deft heard some bad things about comps but there brand new...
Can't hurt to let me check it out.
Well let me know when u will have an open weekend or when yal will be out at the shop and ill ride by
Get rid of that stupid master cylinder!!
Get rid of that stupid master cylinder!!
If its the clutch it would make any sense to me and the omni per master has worked better than oem for me
I know only from High RPM shifts, last motor went to 9800, this one now has seen 9500... I'm sure if you ask around you will understand more about the clutch thing, it's not just me that notice those things have problems.. ;)
Can't say to much online, but ask some big dog's who have made power and shifted at 10k on the limiter....LOL
i have many shoes
There is problems with twin disks aligning right and I've heard people having issues with the CC and exedy twin discs.
If you're all motor you don't need a twin disc its severe overkill. All you need is a stock like pressure plate and an unsprung disk.
I always shifted 9500-10000 and never ran anything but that. HD pressure plates are bad for all motor mainly because you'll never make enough tq for it to matter.
You want an unsprung disk so you don't pop a,spring out
I figured someone would say that about me stock, well any of the people here go "BUY' A c6, and by buy i mean own it and have the title then check the money it cost to do mods...
avg cam package with tune is $2000-$2500 thats without $1300 headers, $1000 clutch , $power adder, $$$ then labor.. up in the 5-10k easy..
so im happy with the power it makes for stock 6.0 z51 and it is sexy as hell
