Balance shaft deletion. This mod helped the engine loose close to 12 lbs in unneeded weight. 1lb was straight off the crankshaft.

We had to oval the dump tube to get the 2.5in pipe to clear to the ground.

Car is running good, and finally holding boost. Its in the break in period now, but i'll change the oil friday and do some more tuning.

Did some street tuning and got some new numbers. This is 17-18psi and only 16* timing. Still real conservative.

The numbers are 415hp and 350tq. No spiking this time like it was. Lol.
The bottom curve is 399hp and 249tq, And I can actually rev it higher. We may do some more tuning and turn it up a little more. =)

test n tune! Im gonna be there not sure if Im running yet. A guy i know with a high 10 second n/a mach 1 will be there. Hopefully we can see some nice cool temps.

4.6 stroked to 324ci, 10.9:1, stock TB, short runner intake, +1valves, ported heads, Kooks 3" x thru 3"glasspacks dumped, faceplated tko500 , built rear with 4.30s, aluminum driveshaft and flywheel. he is out of lawrenceville. MV performance built/tuned the car for him. car ran a few 11.0 passes then he asked me to video the last pass before we loaded up the car and he busted a 10.97@125 and change. car is nasty!

It all about how far you wanna go, reliabilty, and sensibility. You can make 400+hp all day long, but if you kill it all day every day how long will it last?? Thats how I made the sohc last so long, driving it easy.

His turboed and light Civic vs a heavy stock auto DD GTO? Did you really just go there? He should be mid 10s with 415 whp. I have several friends that have boosted Civics - and I love anything that is turboed. More fun than any other configuration. A H22 w/ a GT35R is no joke in a 2500# car - its fast with 350wtq.

You should race your own car. I've told you many times, lets run. Pony vs Pony. I'll give you one and the move, from a dig, 1/4 mile, on the street. You can run anything you have - tires, bottle, etc. I will not run the bottle, and will be on street tires. $300
