I am still not seeing the connection here. If I don't agree with something a friend of mine says, I just don't say anything. Have I ever condoned or supported the shit talking from my "posse" that I don't like from other people? Have I ever said "It's ok for Btstone to be this way, but it's not ok for you to be that way"? We all know that it's just a big drama fest talking about Btstone's car, and there's no definite right or wrong answer. After the LONG discussion about your car, I was checking the 1/4 mile slip area and saw where you had posted your times about running at the track. The last time you posted (at least when I read it) was what you claimed as your last time at the track, and it was the same numbers you kept claiming your car ran (I believe it was 14.1@99mph). The thing is, you had done your valvetrain AFTER that run, but STILL told people that's all the faster your car is. Now, I know what the argument to my point is......"well, that is ACTUALLY what the car ran, that's no lie." Yeah, that's true....but to modify your car after getting those numbers, then USE THOSE NUMBERS to talk about how fast your car is, is downright shady and in my eyes just as good as lying.

I appreciate the concern, I guess I'm just not that afraid of it. 99% of the people in this world are completely full of shit, so they don't scare me. Also, people think just because I'm small I can't take care of myself....yet nobody on here knows anything about me. I could be some MMA expert that could rip a man twice my size to shreds....and nobody would ever know I'm capable of it. I'm a grown man and know what situations I'm getting myself into, and I'm content with the possible consequences. Ultimately, I don't want to make enemies.....but I won't stand for watching people treat others in a certain way.

As far as what I "should" have said to Brandon, you and I just have different opinions. I do personally think Stone was/is talking too much about his car, when he doesn't have it and doesn't race it on a normal basis. HOWEVER....when I saw the responses from everyone else, that were just far more ridiculous than what he was saying....I just didn't give a damn about what he was saying. I actually don't recall seeing him LIE, just saying a bunch of stuff to get people riled up.

But what it boils down to, is I just don't have a fear of what will physically happen to me. Wounds will heal, but the reprocussions of what happens when you assult someone is typically way worse than the physical injuries the "victim" suffers. Hell, in some cases....if you find yourself at the point that you want to shove your first through someone's face over an internet argument, it might take GETTING TO THAT POINT to take a step back and really see what you are doing to yourself, and try to figure out why and how you got there.

I think I have a pretty good awareness in my life, that I know when something is just a heated argument, and when the situation is actually serious or dire, and I really need to "do something" about it. I often times think that a lot of people don't view it that way, and I don't feel it's my responsibility to walk on eggshells because they refuse to face the realities of their ignorance.

THR has a turn-key program (stage 1) where they source the chassis, build it, and paint it for 12,500. They find the donor car (usually a 4 cyl car) do a ground up, full suspension, choice of tranny, tires/rims, 4 or 6 point cage and full exterior and interior along with your choice of paint. 6 - 7 month turn-around w/ 70% down payment.
