True. I would much rather build something for 1/4 of the price that is several times faster.

which is why i bought my 240! Dont get me wrong i love my mustang, but its way more expensive to fix up. Body or engine wise. your talkin 5k for a supercharger vs a 2k sr20 thats just as fast or faster if you up the boost!

5K? Maybe for a S197, but your talking about $2500-$3500 for a Fox up to an 04 and upwords of 340rwhp without changing anything else. Not really that exspensive to modify.

Agreed. The Fox's (and basically every other Stang) is a "Google your E.T" chassis. It's already been done... the math is all out there. It's the Civic of Ford w/ retarded aftermarket and loads of info out there. You want a 12 sec Fox - EASILY done w/ a bolt on car and a tad bit of weight reduction.

The point it which is cheaper? 5500 for s14 with sr in it or 08 mustang gt/cs for $33000? and than add performance parts.. 240 is cheaper.

LMAO 33k for an 08 Cali Special?

You know who buys Cali specials for 33k? Dumb bitches in high school with rich families, or douchebag collar popping numskulls.

Get real, I bought my DELUXE GT for 21k, you can get one for around 16 easily now as a GT premium. I spent 7 grandish on a blower with install, and guess what, with little other mods, I have a car capable of a mid 11 if I was worth a damn as a driver.

Guess what else, I dont have a 240SX that id be embarrassed to take a client, or work buddy out in as they would think I was just some boy racer kid (be honest with yourself , the average person considers you this). My car is also reliable.

    Speed
    Reliability
    Cheap

Pick 2 because youll never have all three. Ive modded plenty of cars in the past 10 years, and Ive learned one thing, you get what you pay for. You can build a shit box (not saying your car is one) for half the cost of my car and mods, and itll probably run the same time too, but at the end of the day its still a shit box. We all grow up eventually and our tastes change, but comparing an SR swapped 240 to an S197 with tons of mods is apples to oranges. Do you want to be 45 years old driving a swapped 240? Not sure if you noticed kiddo but race wars is over and a couple sr's dont pull a premium.

You're 19, and I can see this. Have you taken a hard look at your sig pic and really listened to yourself? Say it out loud, then look at the car in your sig and tell me that you dont think that doesnt sound a little humorous.
