PS: That was a stand-up thing man for Tracy to extend an olive branch man. BG and MSPi and every1 that knows me will tell you that most of my shit comes from other states. But mantenance, parts and tuning is a Godsend to get locally man. Don't burn your local bridges man - let by-gones be bygones. It's really okay to be a big boy and start over. Yeah you can't start from the beginning, but you can def start from where you left off. Just my .02. No1 in GA is out to hurt you or rock your world, you're not that important to the local scene to have a target on your back yet. Also no1 @ BG or MSPi will accept your car if they don't think they can help you - they are ALL good people at those shops man FYI. Don't let a woman be a bigger man than you man - that's not sexy.

When you ask for TUNING, you get TUNING. If your car ain't ready, it isn't the TUNERS fault, it's yours man. And of course, you will say that you didn't know the injectors were incorrect so honestly how are you going to sit there and say Dan doesn't know how to tune when you can't even tune yourself OR make sure you have the correct stuff in your car.
It's all really a case of mistakes, started by whoever sent you the wrong injectors. Which caused a chain reaction of your car not being ready to be tuned, therefore Dan charged you 1 hour to basically let you know it wasn't right which caused you to call him incompetent. Also, if this was the problem when you took it to Turbo Dave, then you messed your stuff up....not him. I think perhaps some apologies are in order. Real men do that if they are wrong.
In summary, whoever sold you the wrong injectors made you look like a fool in this thread. Go get em tiger.![]()

Ive been around my fair share of hondas i have NEVER seen a wrong resistor box cause a car to not hit vtec, and run virtually NORMAL with no signs of any issues.
Usually when you have low impedance and no resistor box the car wont even run , if you have high impedance AND a resistor box the car will run but youll burn the injectors up, possibly the ECU.
I dont see a car with low impedance injectors and no resistor box running at all let alone that good as it did that day. I was there.
but hey, again i dont know everything.

I honestly think if the injectors were really the problem, the car wouldnt have made it through tuning sessions at Topspeed or BG, as Hondata concluded, the car with low imp. no resisor box would have fried his ECU within minutes, and his batter voltage (which we tested) was below 12 volts.

This has nothing to do with it being a Honda. It doesn't matter what kind of car it is, it will react the exact same. I've seen it, and done it before with a few other cars that I've tuned. The ECU doesn't always fry just like that. In some cases the car can run for quite awhile without showing any signs of anything being wrong.
