    Default Nitrous Cam Help

I know this doesn't belong here but there are more domestics in here. Ok I have a 93 5.0, stock 97 explorer bottom end, trickflow track heat intake, 24# inj, holley forced induction 255, 3.73 gears, full exhaust, msd digital 6, 70mm tb, 73mm mass air. And I want to put a trickflow plate kit and run a 150 shot, I just bought some pro comp 210's (I know these heads are too big but I don't plan on keeping the 302). And I'm about to buy some pro comp 1.6 shaft mount roller rockers. So, my question is what would be the best cam for me to run, because all of the ones I'm looking at are either too big or they don't have the power range I'm looking for (2,200-6,200).

*And these are the cams I'm trying to decide on.

Those cams are too big for a 302.

the anderson N41 will allow you to make 320 to the tires on the bottom end. and so will the F-cam. the trickflow is also a good cam if you had more compression. trust me ive had all three of these cams. on a stock bottom end.

I don't like the Anderson stuff. There are a lot better cams out there.

Out of the three that you posted the comp looks the best, but is that going to work well with nitrous? It looks like more of an NA cam.

All three of those will work well with a small hit, up to 250. Those will give you the best of both worlds.

Sounds good to me, I'm not going over 150 anyways.

Well I know I will want to go faster, I have a lot of stuff to buy before I can start building the motor that will go in its place. This is just to keep me happy during the long build ahead.

Have you looked into a custom grind? You would more than likely end up way ahead with a custom grind rather than an off the shelf stick. Try Jay Allen at Camshaft innovations. Google them and you'll find the link.

No more engine than he has, a custom grind probably wouldn't have a noticeable difference.
