There is NO shaft that go's into the back of the motor with a automatic. There is a small hub that is on the converter that go's through the FLEXPLATE,into the back of the crank, not Flywheel. Flywheel is for a stick shift, Flexplate for a automatic. You can have a auto for your car for probably less than $3500.00. A converter with that stall is no problem either.
