    Default MY NEW TURBO BUILD!!!!

Since of few people are curious what I am building, I will go ahead and post up
    some specs.

    LSX 6Bolt Headed Block
    ETP 265CC 6bolt heads
    427ci
    Big Cam
EZ 94mm Billet Impellar Turbo( 6in. inlet 5in exhaust outlet) 1850hp flow capablity
    2000hp A/W Intercooler
All going in a White 98 Transam that is currently bone stock.
    Going for appx.1250-1300rwhp
It will have a 6speed for hwy dutie's and a TH400 for track duties.
This car will retain A/C and Heat and all other comforts as well.
I will be doing some hwy runs, but only with a certain few!If they read this the certain few will know who they are.
This car will be on the street more than the track this time. For more enjoyment purpose's. I also plan on attending the Texas Mile Shootout as well just for fun! Should be done by the end of Februaury hopefully.

    98 Trans Am, 427LSX,94mm Turbo

That's a cool build, but it will be worthless on the street with 1,300whp. You already know that though.

can't wait to see the finished product. I just wish I had bought the ss from u when it was still a street car. With such a large turbo will u be using nx to spool or will that size motor spool it semi quickly?

The 427 with both sides of the exhaust dumping into the turbo SHOULD spool it fairly quick. My other setup with the twins ,I had full boost by 4200rpm, so as long as its comprable, I will be happy.

That turbo is huge! In the comparison pics, it looks like it could eat the TC76

The heads I bought new off of another forum member. They were for a standard LS head pattern. I shipped the heads back the the manufacturer to have them add the extra bolt holes for the LSX 6 bolt head pattern.
    ET Performance has the heads.

It's getting closer. I wrapped the headers this time. I will see how I like it, and if not I will get them coated. I painted the intake tube gloss black. Turned out really nice. One problem though. When the turbo kit was built it was built on the original worn out rubber motor mounts. I had a set of solid made off of a new set of of stock mounts and I lost appx. 1 in of hood clearance.:bang: Here is few more pics.
