The reason for my choice of car is that, I dont wanna be like darkstar every saturday night on the sidelines because people will not run him for money because he is the fastest out there so if you get a car in the middle that ppl dont know about and ppl know they are slow from the factory(hence the hustle for money)

That is why i did what i did
I choose to sit on the sidelines most of the time, i dont race for money all the time, thats the least of my worries when driving my car out there. Id rather have a fun run than to run for money. I love the sport and i love the adreniline rush. If you build a car to only do money runs, you wont get very far.

420+ whp, Damn not bad! Was that on a dynojet or Mustang dyno? Im around the same hp on a Mustang dyno but weigh more, so your car prolly moves out GOOD.

eh, i dont think its that fast. Its got a 57 trim turbo on it. Mine weighs about 2400 with me in it.....still has heat,abs,factory seats...

Naw bro you know that weight is everything in the honda world. Most of my buddies have to turbo ef and turbo egs. Integras are heavy cars. 100 hundred pounds is = .10 tent of a second. If i had a crx 10s 1/4 mile times would be easier reach. i got some lenso 24.5/8/13 ET MT gold with only 4 pass on them if you need some slicks. My sister drives it everyday with a stock f20b in it . After i put my built motor in my dads hatch and the stock f20b motor in the accord i let my sister get it. Im building another car . I started to redue the accord but honestly i couldnt think of a way to make it look better then it does and i didnt want to put it back the same way so i left it alone and let her get it. Me and my dad had been taking my old si hatch to the track after i put a f20b swap in it because he wanted a nice dd. We kinda got back into the track thing so i gave him the built motor out of the accord and he took it to a whole new leavel that thing is a beast. I agree about your weight i just like a complete car and i like to feel like i own something nice not striped to pieces just me but i guess i own true street cars lol not street race cars . I got the bracket to put ac back own the si just havnt done it yet . If that swap was in my cx chasis it would probably go 11s so i know how you feel about the weight thing . We are just playing with his but it realy is a dd that gets 35 miles to the gallon . The motor has about 15,000 on it and still runs strong makes over 250 to the wheels .

i agree with you about a street car vs a race car, but i have a teggy. I love the way a integra looks compared to any other honda. i have to loss any weight that i can possible take out ,but i still keep my heat for street racing. i still drive it on the street and fuck a antenna i have a panasonic to listen to music. i got tired of getting beat by ls1 cars and cobras. Beating them stock is easy but semi build cars is another story. Hell ls1 cars with heads and cams run low 11 1/4 mile times, with out naws. Every v8 guy i know talks about how imports are a waste of money and time. it is true if you want to go fast and for cheap get a v8 and no v8 guy i know likes roll racing. so it is either make more power or lose some weight to be fast. I also take out the rh headlight for cooler air for the turbo

whoa killer calm down! Im not hating on ls1's. As a matter of fact, its one of my favorite motors. I constantly try to get my freinds with 240's to drop ls1's into their cars. So before you go jumping to conclusions lets get some shit straight. As stout as those ls1's are I dont think you are gonna run low 11's with simply a cam and a set of heads. Now Im sure someone somewhere has seen a video on youtube of a stock ls1 camaro with only heads and a cam running some crazy ass times...I call bullshit.

Evilgoat I believe ran a 12.7 in his gto...it was an ls1 car and he is a damn good driver. Heads alone were not gonna get him to the low 11's he already had a cam. Im not doubting you saw a camaro run low 11's but I have a hard time believing all he had was a cam and some heads. Look Im no expert, just very opinionated.....I dont think its outside the realm of possibilities for a car with mild bolt ons to run those times I just doubt that a heavy camaro, or gto will run those times short of cutting a great 60' and having a hell of a driver and lots of power. It took evil 500+hp to run 10.98 on slicks and driving the piss out of it...heads and a cam alone will not add nearly 200 hp...I just dont see it. did you personally know this guy?

I had got on it but after seeing your car bounce around like it did I had to get back out....Im on h&r super sports with no iso's so I would have lost a few fillings from my teeth! Then when we got close together after that I dropped to third to get up next to you hoping we could do a 3rd gear pull and you pulled away and got off the interstate at the next exit. Your car was moving pretty good though. After you got off the interstate macon pd followed me for a couple miles right on my bumper....it was stressful to say the least!

We will get it done next time, I need a drop bad because when I cut through those cars I had to counter steer for all of the damn body roll I had. Terrible stock suspension. well there is a big differnce between weight off a dam gto and a dam camaro who ever says u cant get into low11switheads and cams with a ls1 in a camaro or a trans am is retarded...

I just got around to watching that video of that 12.69@110mph ss. While impressive I can't help but wonder how stock that exhaust was. I've known plenty of people with ls1 camaro's and they all ran good times. infact I know of one right down the road from me that runs extremely low 13s however it is lightly modded. regardless I never said it was impossible I just don't think you are gonna take any old ls1 camaro and Damn near run 10's with nothing more than a cam and a set of heads. its gonna take intake and exhaust mods as well as suspension and tire setup to drive it to a low 11. its impressive that those motors can perform the way they do but it takes more than just heads and a cam to get that low 11. that's all I'm saying. there are guys on the mach 1 registry running in the 11's with cams as well but they also have port work, full exhaust including longtubes, built rears, suspension mods, and a tire. one could say that with port work(heads and intake manifold) and cams my car could run 11s......see how stupid that sounds?

nah i talked to the guy to see if we were doing stuff wrong for him to be that quick and its where he is located he has went to other tracks and ran any where from a 13.2-13.0 at some off them it all depends on where the track is the weath ect and nah man heads and cam it is believeable for the reason u can get 550 fly wheel horse power out off a ls1 or more hell summit offers a heads/cam pakage...one off my buddys at the track has a camaro ss with a 3 73 gear,dr, and full bolt ons with nitrous, and a stall...puts down 350 horse power off the spray to the wheels on the spray puts down 502 to the wheels with his tune... and he runs 10.8s on a bonestock suspenion all he did was heat the stock springs up and thats all...he gets a 1.4 60' on the drag radials so i mean it all dempends on alot off stuff but saying a heads/cam car cant hit 11s u need to do more reasurch bud go on ls1 tech i mean i have seen bonestock ls1 cars with a full suspenion and the slp factory pakage witch is what alot off them have..with a full suspsenion run 12.2 to 11.9s but i mean thats a gear and a suspenion slicks but it is very believeable to see a ls1 car with heads and cams hit low 11s with ease i mean if u can get one in the 9.8s on a stock bottom end it is possible and im not cracking on anyones car or anything im just saying ls1s are power houses and it is all but very possible to just slap heads and cams on a ls1 and run high 11s as long as ur ss came with a 3 42 stock rear end u will get it

ill throw in this bit of info, though not impossible, you gotta look at the lift on the cams, a small cam and general (non CNC or hi port) head setup isnt gonna run deep 11s, most street cam and head setups with a normal (average) driver will run mid 12s on stickies (drs not slicks) with stock suspension...but its def do able i mean on power block they did a head cam ls1 and went high 10s, wasnt a street friendly cam but it got there...im not arguing to either side just throwing this idea out there...good debate though ;)

It doesn't matter if he does. I have spray setup on the car as well, if I feel that I want more power. Plus, I have more experience with nitrous than he does. Honestly though, I don't need it for this.
Oh yeah, and that is assuming that he strips his car down, has a nice suspension setup, slicks, and 150 shot on the car. His only chance is to pull a 1.7 60' or better. And I don't see that happening.
My car is exactly the same as it was when he bought the Mach 1. My only issues right now is that the car has some oil leaks, tires are worn out, and reverse has died. Nothing that will slow me down enough for him to have a chance.

Honestly, if he is not already spraying, he needs to take the cash and go buy a kit, and practice, and try again next season.

Well track experience will play a factor. The way it sits on his drs he should be low 11s with a driver mod, but I'm guessing since he hasnt ran this setup on the track he should do High 11s to very low 12s

My wastegate flanges wont be here until friday, so hopefully the car will be ready for Saturday. If it is ready it'll be the first time at the track, and the car isnt even setup, so I dont expect any good numbers then.
