There was a car show at Luby's on Sunday. ASAP took 2nd place and 4 out of 6 cars placed. His was one of them.

And I can definitely assure you, that when we do a show for a cause, it's legit. We have a spokesperson for the charity out there and the money is presented to them. Last year was Relay for Life. It was our first show, packed out the small parking lot we had with around 50 cars, had a low entrance fee, trophies and everything, and raised a good amount of money for the cause. :cheers: ALL proceeds go to the cause, we take none of them.

I feel the same way, I am down to help for a cause no matter what it is, as long as it is legit.

Dude, sad to say it but the Del Sol was my first car crush. I wanted one so bad when I was in middle school. Then I got to high school and got into chicks and such and it was at that point I just wanted a cool car, didn't want a Honda. However, I ended up with a shitty Toyota Camry ('89) and my car obsession was at it's lowest. Then, a few years back I bought my first 5 speed car, a 94 Mazda Protege. Kartboy SS and PRM intake. I was in love again.

I still have a soft spot for the Del Slo.

Actually it's not too bad. Loud as shit and it shakes EVERYthing inside the car. Literally, letting it coast down from high RPM's is almost worse than gunning it into a high RPM.

Actually, only reason I did buy it was can I wanted a quick car, and I paid the same price for everything as the guy did for the motor and transmission in it alone. So, was more of an investment.... It's a fun car for sure, straight lines and curves. But, like you said, I don't want a honda. Nothing against them, just not me. I got made fun of my dsm, just cause of the reliabilty issues that they were known for. But in person, everyone loved the car. Even old guys in new Vettes gave it thumbs up when they heard it cam. but... I spent a lot of money on the car and something as simple as the timing belt breaking four days after I replaced it, destroyed the motor... Getting rid of it Saturday for cheap and just cutting my losses. And props, for even if people talk about your car, you realize that it is YOUR car. Not theirs.
