Thanks! :) I'm loving it so far. I mainly want to get the car back to 100% clean. Kid that I got it from didn't really take care of it. So I've got to fix some leaks and stuff, and replace several parts. I have a new valve cover coming now. OEM Red with new seals. It's going to mainstream next week to have the leaks all addressed and fixed. :yes:

Lojack is also being put on it.. along with a kill switch. :goodjob:


Then maybe get the a/c and p/s fixed.. :ninja:

I've heard that the bottle of octane booster from NOS is actually pretty damn good. We put it in my buddy's 4 wheeler after he swapped in a hot cam. Now the damn thing is hooked on it. Runs like crap without it. :boobies:

If I have to replace something then it will be replaced with something way better. My current compression is 11:1 I believe. The higher compression you go the less dependable the car is right? If I make the car 15:1 with some wiesco pistons.. it won't last long will it? I want to be able to daily drive this car with a good bit of power under it's hood.

As of now.. I can stay with a stock 00 automatic GT Mustang. Blew my damn mind that I could still see his face the whole time through 3rd gear. When I got to 4th I let off.. (don't wanna go too fast). Never thought I'd own a civic that could run like that.

yea, its just like the GS-R motor, except for small things like, pistons and what not. the head is pretty much the exact same as well, with the minor exception of i think its already ported. don't hold me to that, but i know the head is just a little more worked than the GS-R. it should have the stamp PR-3 on it. and the compression is 11:1, over the GS-R's 10:1 i believe. find a good valvetrain to go with it, and get a good tune. BUT when upgrade the valves, DO NOT GO OVERSIZE, stay OEM size only, cause if you just happen to accidently overrev, say good-bye to you your valves and piston heads at the very LEAST. i would get a thicker head gasket as well to get just a little high compression(2mm might get you around 11.5:1).

while you're at it, try getting the ECU chipped before the tune. might get a high rev and more hp out of it.

you should be seeing close to 200hp then.:goodjob:

yup its aftercooled now. also sold the pansy vortech Heat exchanger and put a Saleen one on. helps keep the water temp down alot actually. during the day it still gets pretty warm with temps and humidity as it is but at night it does alot better then the vortech one. i have a 4" aluminum driveshaft coming soon so that should help my ET a bit. and drag radials will be on next time lol!
