So i called 3 dealerships for my part - 53713-ST7-A23, my GSR part, is valid and orderable and in stock in a wareouse. All 3 said part # is good and i can get in one day. This validates my point that the online oem acura site is upto date as far as orderability. The prices below is the price quoted by the dealership over the phone or online. Why the discrepancy in price b/c dealerships charge whatever they want, MSRP vs some discount. Since my part # is still valid for 94 - 97 GSR, i've proved my point that it is a good part number i can order today. Your part # 53713-st7-a03 is LS / RS like i said. My Honda EPC rarely lets me down, b/c it's actually what the parts guys sees on his screen. They may have updated software but it's the real deal. Next time i'm up there i should look, lol. Now did you call acura to see what the deal is for my part # vs your part #? Is my part # 53713-ST7-A23 obsolete as you claim it to be? You should find your LS part did not supercede my GSR part #. Let us know what you find.

Ed Voyles Acura - (877) 297-7172

Like i said before RS/LS (53713-st7-a03 ) part may work but i prefer GSR part (53713-ST7-A23). Pepboys / Autozone maybe universal, that is not unual.
The resources i use are genuine Acura OEM parts suppliers located at dealerships selling genuine parts. Yes some are online only but i check real brick and mortar as well. You can not get any real than those websites. Occasionally parts are obsolete but very rare from what i've seen. And my part #s come from a Honda EPC which is a genuine resouce that parts counters employees use behind the counter. Maybe slightly obsolete but it's the real deal b/c it even cross references where that part used on differnt platforms, etc. It's good stuff...
CHEERS, I've done my homework LOL.![]()
