DR's are usually cheaper than street tires, I think. And if you're not burning out in them all the time, you can easily get over 10k miles out of them.Originally Posted by SlowVR6T

I use street tires for the ride and durability, but they are more expensive than DR's (they just last longer).
But maybe it depends on the size. Street tires are VERY expensive on 17+" wheels, but DR's aren't that bad for those sizes.
