here is the real story. No cars were there....MAYBE 20 so left lane wasnt even open. We never got to line up. my car ran well. Nevrnuftorq had no nitrous and low bottle pressure which KILLED his 60' times. He had some good passes considering the atrocious 60 foot times but we both new he left a lot at home with no spray. David is my best friend and I love him like a brother. I just started the smack talk for us to add in the fun. He actually loaned me his enclosed trailer to haul my turd in. MUCHO thanks for that David. We had a great time and 2 of our crew got a new best!!!

Just before MCE track day we dyno'd my car.
On 8 psi it made 749 rwhp--757 rwtq
On 9 psi it made 780 rwhp--783 rwtq
Both were at 13 degrees of timing. We planned on going up in boost and tuning more to get those numbers up but my roadrunner was acting nutty.

Went to MCE day....tried to launch at 9 psi...3500 rpms and broke the spider gears in the posi which then locked the rear and caused the driveshaft to break.
Came home and installed a Strange spool.
Yesterday we hit Steele. First pass I try to launch at 5 psi....target boost for run was 8 psi. Slicks at 17 psi hot. I didnt do a proper burnout...got one tire hotter than the other and learned quickly what that causes with a spool. 14.5 @ 124

Next pass turned the 2-step down to 3000 rpms. Launch boost was 2 psi and target boost was 10psi. Slicks at 15 psi hot. Spun a very small amount. Results were much better

Last pass I left tires (15psi hot) and 2 step alone (2 psi)......target boost was set to 12 psi. Car didnt spin any. Ran well for a new best of 9.59 @ 144

Next time out I will try a little more boost and a harder launch. I think my goal of 9.3x is certainly obtainable. many thanks to the whole MSS crew.....especially Nevrnuftorq!!
