ALL of them have come from another shop first (mainly that other shop that Doug used to work for that closed down and took everyone's money and locked all of the cars inside the building. Can't remember the name at the moment) except for 1 and we didn't end up tuning it.

Just something to think about And to tell the truth, I'm not into the immature e-battle's you all like to have anymore. I don't feel the need to prove ourselves. We have been doing that for years. Most Evo's with 35r kits on the street will get beat by a stock turbo evo all day long on pump gas. However....... High boost and race fuel or high boost, pump 93 with meth on a 35r will definitely spank a stock turbo Evo. Not taking sides just stating the facts.

I don't know what the circumstances were in that race, like I said just stating the facts.

35r evos dont make 500whp on pump gas (as he was saying)
2 cars both running 22psi the one that spools faster is gonna win....the other car may make more power at that boost but its not gonna be enough to come back....

i refuse to argue with idiots but are you not the same moron who flipped his honda element just to get a STI so in a word your a idiot in my book Topspeed does have great customer service however there mechanics are total dumbasses a shop should never allow a person not emplyed by them to work on shop cars nor should they hire a mechanic and place him as head mechanic when he doesnt have the know-how or skill to do his trade.

Well lemme give you a peice of correct info. For both you fightclub and you Tiger, one of the PMS members wrecks was due primarily to mechanical failure in the HICAS system, not primarily to an overconfident driver. Just figured might as well throw some facts in there.

As for the last part, I am one of those cars, and it would be my pleasure. I should also be ready in the spring and I will be happy to put you in your place.

so you are telling me when your HICAS SYSTEM DIES, you no longer have control of the car(if thats the case I would think they would have recalled that item). But didnt you drive the car the next day? Well it appears thinking is not your strong suit. Read ANY of the GTR forums and most poeple hate HICAS for that exact reason. It causes wrecks. Why do you think people install HICAS lock bars?

Also I never said my HICAS died. I said malfunction. Let me give you a bit more info. What HICAS does is physically move your back wheels while you are in a corner. It is supposed to do so at a certain angle to help you come out of the corner faster. Often times what happens however, is the HICAS does not do its job properly, causing your back wheels to move before they should. This obviously causes wrecks. Feel free to do your research before you talk shit.

In my case however, as I was coming into the corner my malfunctioning HICAS caused my back wheels to twitch sending me sliding...


Like I said, its cool to talk shit. But know the facts first.

I never said that I was not hot in the corner... I just said that the vast majority of the accident was the fault of the HICAS. I am not saying I am faultless in any way. Just saying chances are it would not have happened without the mechanical aspect of it.

I have only seen with my 2 eyes one car come from Top Speed. From what I saw it was the most ghetto install I have ever seen. I cant make a judgement on that one car though.

I have seen BG run the Supra numerous times and everytime it went to run it broke something...

there again I cant make assumptions off of one car.

I cant belive that shit.... I am REALLLLLLLYY pissed off at myself. Mostly becuase it was all my fault. I dont have anyone else to blame nor can I blame it on conditions outside.

Last night I was coming home from being out. I was on 285 getting on to Hwy 78 and like a jackass I came into the corner wayyy too hot. AND I KNEW THAT SHIT! I mean I KNEW i was coming in too hot. However my dumbass decides to try it out anyway. I mean I literally said to myself, FUCK I need to brake! But then the little man on the other shoulder said, Fuck it... be a man. Shows where that shit got me. Anyway, as I was coming around the bend my rear tires started to slide, began to correct the slide however unfortunately I was on the left side, which means as soon as the tires started to slide, they slid into the grass. Car of course completely slid now that it was in the grass. Front bumper hit one of those TIGHT CORNER signs, yea I know im a jackass, then car spins all the way to the side and I proceed to knock down about 2-3 more of these same signs with the passenger side (remeber JDM tyte) of the vehicle. I finally come to a complete stop in the grass, and get back onto the road and go to a waffle house to survery the damage.

HOWEVER! I also have some interesting news. It appears that one of the primary reasons for my accident was a HICAS malfunction. For anyone who doesnt know, in laymans terms HICAS is all wheel steering. It actually moves the rear wheels while cornering to allow you to do so faster. Now it is actually much more involved, but those are the basics.

Well anyway, my HICAS was not functioning properly. Which made it so that a turn I should have been able to take I was no longer able too. Currently trying to diagnose what the HICAS problem is and how to fix it. We think the motor may be bad however.

Once again a lack of reading comprehension. How is this relavent to my accident with HICAS in any way shape or form? That is the childish part I am talking about. Being unable to form cognitive thoughts and understand situational correlations.
