    my cat Powder is not feeling to good....We took Powder into the vet today and a normal cat's Red Blood Cell count is around 35-45%. Powders RBC count was 9.9%, doctor said if it got to 5-6% then were were looking into a bad situation for the cat. So turns out not feline leukemia. or AIDS but rather a parasite that grows in the RBC and then the body fights it off by killing all the REB which in turn makes the cat anemic ...He hasn't eaten for a few days and is still not eating...hopefully by tomorrow he will...but he in no means is out of the woods right now...I hope he pulls through...right now his life depents on eating and the medicine to get him better...

    well powder is doing much better, he is still really skinny after not eating for so long. we got his RBC up to 32% and he is starting to eat more...we let him go outside for the first time today, he was going crazy in the house

    on another note we have a doggy living with us....we picked him up from the Atl police dept. because my dads cuzin (who he hasnt seen for like 30years) got arrested and his dog was going to be put down...we went and picked her up. The guy got out of jail and said he was going to come pick her up...two days later he calls and says he is tired and is going home to Fl and will pick up the dog in the future......

    The dog is a 11 week old maltese female
