HA HA! Air came out early! I picked it up the other day and it's beautiful!! The English dubbing is beyond bad which makes me kinda sad, but English dubs suck anyway.

    Also picked up...

    My-HiME Vol.6
My-HiME Vol.7 with Limited Edition Collectors Box
Rumbling Hearts (Kimi ga Nozomu Eien) Complete Box Set (Vol.1-3)
Samurai X OVA Collectors Pack (OVA 1-2)

    I has no money! Wooooo!!!

I'm not sure. To me it just seems like the American voice actors just don't put enough emotion into it. Everything is just so monotone. That and the females try to copy the cute Japanese voices, but it just comes out as an annoying valley girl voice. Now there have been a few good dubs released by all companies. .hack//SIGN, Chobits, and even Naruto have all had English dubs that I've actually enjoyed watching. You've just got to give each series a chance and if it sucks, go back to Japanese.

    My Favorite English Voice Actors
Crispin Freeman is probably my favorite male English voice actor. He's provided the voices of Alucard (Hellsing), Motosuwa Hideki (Chobits), Balmung (.hack// series) and a lot of other characters. He's able to actually depict a characters emotions and his voice changes to match that of the character's persona. If I were trying to become a voice actor, he would be one of my inspirations.

Michelle Ruff would be my top female English voice actor. She's done the voices of Chii (Chobits), Sakuraba Aoi (Ai Yori Aoshi), Kaname (Koi Kaze), Herikawa Koishi (Please Teacher! / Please Twins!), Nagato Yuki (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), and many more. Most of her roles are quiet girls, but overall she's done a great job giving each character a different feel in their voices.

Amanda Winn Lee would be another one of my favorite female English voice actors. She hasn't had many roles, but she has portrayed the voices of Ayanami Rei (Neon Genesis Evangelion) and Mimiru (.hack//SIGN). I found it interesting how she's able to do both the quiet, reclusive Rei as well as the energetic and curious Mimiru. Diversity is something that is very appreciated in a voice actor.
